Archive has never really been a band that do cover
versions, preferring to forge their own musical
direction, absorbed in their own creations. When they
started their Patreon fan subscription service they
decided to explore the world of the cover version,
searching out “classic" songs that the band felt had
potential for reinterpretation.
? The resulting 'Show Me Heaven EP’ released on
limited edition 10” red-splatter vinyl represents three of
their most successful experiments.
