3CD + Blu Ray Deluxe Box / 2LP Black Vinyl / 2LP Indies Red Vinyl / 4LP Black Vinyl

Choosing former Roxy Music member and David Bowie collaborator Brian Eno to produce them, Talking Heads expanded their sound greatly for their second album released in 1978. More Songs About Buildings And Food stands amongst the Talking Heads' best work. The influence of producer Brian Eno stands out as he helped propel the band forwards into increasingly innovative territory. The entire album, even the minor hit, an Eno-treated cover version of Al Green's "Take Me To The River," sounds amazingly fresh some thirty-six years later. This Super Deluxe Edition available on 3CD plus BluRay, 4LP, and 2LP, expands upon the original album with a bonus album featuring rare and previously unreleased studio outtakes as well as a previously unreleased in full complete show from the More Songs… tour recorded in October 1978 at Entermedia Theatre in New York City.

The 3CD/1Blu-ray Super Deluxe Edition features the remastered album alongside 11 rarities, including four previously unreleased alternate versions of album tracks. The set also includes a live recording of the band’s August 1978 show at New York’s Entermedia Theatre. Footage from that show and another at Sproul Plaza at the University of California, Berkeley, both appear on the Blu-ray. Additionally, there are Dolby ATMOS and 5.1 surround sound mixes by E.T. Thorngren and group member Jerry Harrison, plus a high-resolution stereo version of the album. A 60-page hardcover book rounds out the package, with previously unseen photos and new liner notes with recollections from Tina Weymouth, David Byrne, Chris Frantz, and Harrison.

The collection captures a pivotal moment in their evolution and marks the first of three albums produced with Brian Eno. The 2LP black vinyl and 2LP red vinyl versions feature the remastered album and a selection of rarities.

The 4LP Super Deluxe Edition features the remastered album alongside 11 rarities, including four previously unreleased alternate versions of album tracks. The set also includes a live recording of the band’s August 1978 show at New York’s Entermedia Theatre. A 60-page hardcover book rounds out the package, with previously unseen photos and new liner notes with recollections from Tina Weymouth, David Byrne, Chris Frantz, and Harrison.
